Laying of the foundation stone

A ceremonial laying of the foundation stone on 15 August 2008 has been the starting shot for a complete new production facility in the Hungarian Törökszentmiklos.
|
In the course of the further expansion of the Vogel & Noot Landmaschinen GmbH & Co KG which is belonging to the Dieter Mengele Beteiligungs GmbH will be build a further production location on a 76,000 m˛ big area in Törökszentmiklos which is about 130 km south-eastern of Budapest.
In the first expansion stage with an amount invested of 7.5 Million Euro are projected primarily production facilities for the Vogel & Noot cultivator program, compact disc harrows and other tine implements as well as office- and common rooms for about 100 new employees. Besides the production there will be also build a technical competence center for the above named implement groups.

The official laying of the foundation stone has been on 15 August 2008 in the presence of high-ranking politic- and economic prominence like the Hungarian economy- and development minister Dr. Bajnai Gordon. In his speech the Minister Bajnai underscored the high valence of the project for the region because the area around Szolnok and Törökszentmiklos was the center of the agriculture industries in former years and the engagement of Vogel & Noot is a further step for the reactivation of this potential.

“We came to the decision for Törökszentmiklos as a new location because of the excellent local basic conditions both in relation to the support of the regional institutions and the availability of qualified personnel”, explained Mr. Peter Binggl, managing director of the new founded Vogel & Noot Talajtechnika Kft.

The building measures are already stepping forward and will be finished in the middle of December 2008. A gradual commissioning of the new production will happen in January 2009.
For Vogel & Noot is the new production in Törökszentmiklos besides the headquarter in Wartberg / Austria, the factory in Mosonmagyarovar / Hungary and the in 2007 recently bought drill seeding factory in Leopoldov / Slovakia another important main piller for the increase of the capacity and the basis for further international market activities.
