Ploughing Championship in Borkelangen, Norway

During the first weekend of October a ploughing championship took place in Bjørkelangen, 25 km eastern of Oslo. Three categories were represented: “PROFESSIONAL non reversible plough”, “PROFESSIONAL reversible plough” and “JUNIOR reversible plough”.

The participant for VN was OLE Petter Haugom, he competed in the category “JUNIOR reversible plough”, with a total of 12 participants. For the young man it was a premiere, his first competition!
The first day grassland was being ploughed, and he succeeded to secure the 7th place. The following day of the contest, the weather was very bad, and stubble land was ploughed. Unfortunately our competitor only came 11th. In the overall ranking, our contestant reached the 10th place.
We would like to congratulate Ole Petter Haugom to his debut, and wish him an even better result for the next time!
